Total Prakasam recognized as drought hit By M. Ilyas ONGOLE Jan. 2: The state government issued orders through GO. Ms. No. 36, declaring Tripurantakam, Kanigiri and Hanumantunipadu mandals of the Prakasam district as drought hit on Tuesday. The district collector Mr Kantilal Dande said that entire mandals of Kanigiri and Hanumantunipadu were declared drought hit and Duvvali, Ramasamudram, Madavanipalli, Mittapalem, and Mukutumpalem villages of the Tripurantakam mandal were declared drought hit.
